My explorer is making a vibrating noise that's felt more and heard louder from the front driver side when we accelerate. When we turn the wheel to the left it no longer makes the noise. It's was recommended to change the Hub assembly which we did but the noise continues.
What else could be causing this sound and vibration. It sort of reminds me of the noise an aircraft makes as it's taking off on the runway.

does it make it with 4 wheel drive on or off?

did you change both hub assemblies or just one? definetely sounds like a bearing letting go.

jack up the vehicle and check for play in the wheel and look on the knuckle if your getting play any at all the bearing is bad. it is only a few thousandths and thats over play in the joint.
