I just changed the actuator. when i went to start it to test heat, first it sounded funny when trying to turn over, didnt turn over. When i stopped and shut key off, the tach and speedometer needles were rapidly 'ticking' and vibrating for a couple of seconds. As i tried to turn over engine again, less power in turning over until finally it is just clicking, not even turning over. The battery is strong. i am stumped.
Thanks. Cliff W.

Ok so how many volts is in the battery? Have you taken the battery to you favorite parts store to have them load test it? If not please do so we can make sure that it is completely up to snuff. Get back to me and we will take it from there. Do you have a test light and or a digital multi meter?

I just changed my alternator and had the same experience. I'd also like to add that there is a beep noise coming from the engine compartment when it tries to start.

Help please
