Transmission problem
2004 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive 115000 miles

I purchased this new and began having problems with the transmission in less than 2000 miles. It was serviced several times while under warranty for cellonoid, etc. The OD light never came on until 75000 miles when the transmission failed. I had the transmission rebuilt at 75,000 miles. The OD flashing light came back on soon after the transmission was fixed. When it is put on the computer, no codes show up. I was told not to worry about it. I have not had any problems with the transmission, such as unusual noises or shifting, but the OD light is annoying. It lights up spratically. It might light up after driving for ten or fifteen minutes or two or three hours. Sometimes it won't light up for days or even weeks. It is so random, but it seems to be more often now. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do? Should I be worrried about it? I cannot afford to have another transmission job. I would like to avoid a huge problem by fixing it before any severe damage is done.

Need to scan for tranny codes
TCM codes
OBDII reader may not be able to access the codes for you
