We had the wrong size belt on for a while. Got it replaced with the right sized one on Monday, that stopped it from squealing. Now it has started up again, not nearly as loud and only when accelerating. Do we need to scurb the pullys with a brilo pad and replace the belt again?

Have you checked the belt tensionier? It may be weak and not keeping enough tension on the belt. Also, the pulleys may be glazed. Cleaning them won't hurt.

Let me know what you find.
