I have had my Explorer from new for over 4 years and am forever having problems with the battery not having enough power to start the car if I have not used it for four days. Every time Ford have serviced this vehicle I mention this problem and they say that this is standard. I have been to other Motor Electrician who informed me that it should not be happening and that Ford should solve the problem under warranty. I still got the same answer from Ford at every turn. I am retired now and it is not unusual for me to go 4 days without using the car so am continually charging the battery. The batteries have been the best I can get. Can any help with either info to fix or verification that this is a standard problem with these models. The cost of a full electrical system is prohinive for me at this stage
