My service engine light has been on for a while, according to the reading we received an oxygen senor was out, we changed the one we were told that needed to be changed. The light is still on, and now my O/D Light is flashing. Any ideas why the O/D light is flashing? The owners manual says it needs servicing soon. Is it referring to transmission servicing? Since the O/D light has been on I have noticed that changing from 1st to 2nd gear has hesitated, until it reaches nearly 4RPM's. This has never happened before.

As far as the check engine light, recheck it to make sure it is the same code.

The transmission sounds like there is a problem with one of the shift solenoids. Just like the check engine light, the trans control module (TCM) can be scanned to identify where the problem is coming from.
