2002 Ford Explorer Brake Light stays on temporarily when ac

I've noticed my brake sensor light stays on for a few seconds after braking to a stop.

What is causing this?

Hi Jim;
You could possibly be a little low on brake fluid.
There is a "FULL" indicator line on the side of the reservoir.
DOT3 brake fluid hopefully will take care of the issue.
