I was wondering if the following indicates a bad right or left rear wheel bearing:
@ 55+mph a loud oscillating vibration occurs. The noise is comming from the rear. And from what I can tell its the passenger side wheel.
another point to note is when i make a slow left turn (on the highway) the noise is unmisteakably louder, and the noise goes away when turning right (again on the highway).
Does that make it clear-cut that it's the passenger side? Or might it be the driver's side??? Are there any simple tests to check if the bearing is bad?
I was told which ever side you turn to and the noise is made, the opposite side is the bad bearing. Any help would be appreciated!!!
