I have just recently noticed a whirring sound only when accelerating. If I do not press on the gas, the sound is not there. Also my car squeaks when going over any bumpy road. What is causing this?

As far as the squeaking noise, check sway bar busings. THe noise you hear when you accelerate sounds to me like the fan clutch is locked up and engaging the fan. As a result, you hear it.

Let me know if you have other questions.
