Overdrive O/D warning light on dash is constantly flashing. Car shifts into all gears and overdrive correctly and will downshift when O/D button is pushed on shift lever and back to overdrive when pushed again.

The O/D warning light is telling you that there is an electrical problem with the transmission. S scan for codes is in order. It is most likely a problem with the converter lockup, since it shifts into all of the gears.
