Engine Mechanical problem

hi i need some help i have a 1997 mint con V6 explorer and i was driveing along at 90mph and the engine just cut out and the revs droped and all that, now i can get it to stat it will turn over but not fire. i have had a man out to see it and he thinks its an eletrical prob but to me its fule starvashoin so i looked at the fule cut off switch and it looks fine. can you help me.
