Engine Performance problem

I just had a problem with the mass air flow sensor on my explorer. We havent had this truck very long & the mass air flow sensor went bad. Well we really just wanted to find one of another explorer out of a junk yard or something but we cant seem to find one that fits right. Its like they wont plug in the same. So i was just wondering what years of explorers mass air flow sensors would work?
