I had the head gasket and the head replaced about 4 months ago by my mechanic. I started hearing an engine noise last week so I checked the oil. It was 1 1/2 qt. low. I filled, worried and went about my business. Took a 300 mile trip yesterday and coming back noticed the oil pressure gauge was down considerably. Stopped and checked the oil. It was almost empty! Am I wrong in thinking that the head gasket is blown again? It has not had the power it used to since I got it back from the shop.
