I recently had my car inspected and they stated that my car does not need new shocks. However, I am getting an extremely bad squeaking noise from my left wheel. I hear the noise going over bumps and sometimes making turns.
If I push down on the hood - the squeaking will happen.
What is going on???

Instaed of checking the brakes, have a look at the front end parts, Ford uses sealed ball joints, have them checked, when they run dry, they will squeak!

I just got it checked out by the mechanic. It was the lower ball joint which needed to be replaced. The ball joint with labor and a wheel alignment came out to 305 bucks. Hopefully I didn't taken by these people. What do you think? Car rides pretty good now too!!!

That's a good price for labor, parts, and alignment.
