Transmission problem
1996 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1996 Ford explorer and i have no reverse i have all the other gears going forward and there are no diagnostic lights on inside the truck i was hoping you could tell me what was wrong and the parts i need to fix it

HI there,

You will have to go see a transmission specialist to get a few diagnostic tests done first, modern transmissions are extremely complex items and many special tools are required, this work is usually well beyond the home mechanic to attempt.
