can not turn ignition with key tried both sets will not turn what might be the problem

Hi hothawg3,
If turning the steering wheel left or right to release the pressure on the key works, then it could be that the steering wheel was locked and pressure from the steering lock prevented it from turning.
If above does not workl, try wiggling the key to test if it works. If yes, the lock is failing and has to be repaired/replaced.
If above fails, the lock has failed or you have the wrong key or vehicle.
