rear replace brake pads and rotor

can someone share with me how difficult it is to replace the rear brake pads and rotors. I've seen other sites and it doesn't seem too difficult, but I get conflicting info, especially when it comes to using a c-clamp to depress the calipers. If some one can give me step by step (with pictures would be awesome) that would greatly be appreciated. I'm not a pro, but I have replaced parts such as oxygen sensors, door locks, and alternators

Hi,

Replacing rear brake pads and rotors really isn't too difficult to do and doesn't require a lot of time. You will need some basic tools and a safe jack and safety stands to lift and support the vehicle.

As far as rear brakes, you can expect to get approximately 30,000 miles from a set of good pads. However, that can change based on driving habits and terrain.
