1994 Ford Explorer Stalls and hesitation?

My car has been on the brink …(94 ford explorer, v6 4.0, 180k).

Hesitation and stalls…. Around 45mph -65mph occasionally…

Like someone pinched the fuel line…. I can “floor” the petal but no forward motion and no drastic loss of power … slowly drifts down…

Then I have to pull over and put it in park… then I can drive some more …maybe 4-5 miles…

Cold days seem to almost fix the issue but warm (67+F) seem to worsen it???


Any ideas (I replaced the IAC and Fuel Filter already)...

Check the crankshaft position/throttle position and MAF sensors to include the fuel pressure
