I have a 1993 Ford Explorer XLT 5 spd with about 100,000 miles on it. I put a new clutch and cylinder in it in 07. I was driving to work today and came to a stop and when i started to go i let the clutch out and got nothing but rpms. No grab what so ever. I have full clutch pedal and pressure and it goes in and out of gear but the truck won't move even a little. This happened with no warning. It was running fine until today. Any ideas whats wrong with it??? Please help!!!

Here's a possibility.

Something has broke or come loose in the shifter linkage. You can get a look inside there without too much hassle. Remove the screws from the shift boot retainer and get a look. A flashlight and a small mirror you can put at an angle will be helpful. Let me know what you find out.

Thankyou for responding. Are you ruling out clutch and transmission? And if it is what you said is it a complicated and expensive fix?
