1992 Ford Explorer Hook Up Problem

I have a 1992 Ford and the tranny went out in it and i have bought a new tranny and am fixxing to install and i was wondering where the vent on the top of the tranny hooks up to i just can not remember if it hooks up on the intake are where Thanks alot

its a vent it hooks to nothing
if it has a hose on it run it as high as you can and hook it up

Thanks alot i have already put 1 tranny in and ran it up the road and did not hook up anything to it and all my fluid came out of it there so i will hook up a hose and run it up high THANKS

if its leaking out of the vent then the tranny is over heating check the tranny cooler
