BOB andKEN Ihave a 1992 explorer it is losing transmission fluid not on ground or cant see no leaks every 2or3 weeks I add just started couple months ago and now will not lock in 4wheel drive it shifts and no slipping yet can you please tell me where fluid is going or what might be problem with it? appreciate very much for some advice

If the tranny cooler lines go to the radiator...check the radiator for contamination. Other than that, if the tranny has a vacuum modulator you could be sending it out the tailpipe! Look under the vehclie...any wet areas behind the tranny?
