2006 Ford Expedition V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I bought a tool to replace the in line fuel filter on our expedition. I cannot figure out how to get it loose. help

WHat type of tool did you get? I believe you only need a standard line wrench. Is that what you got?

I bought a tool that supposedly you put on your line where your filter goes in and squeeze??? its made with 4 different sizes and is to pieces hinged in the middle to use different sizes. it doesnt fit the flared out part of the line. I don't understand how to get the line to release the filter
