where can i locate the fuel filter on this 2003 under the hood or along the frame

Your fuel filter is located on the inside of drivers side frame rail, close to tank. Use a flat blade tool to turn the filter protective cover tabs 45 degrees, then remove the cover. Disconnect filter fittings and remove filter.
