2001 Ford Expedition Power Steering Leak

I have a leak in the lines that run off the power steering cooler. The lines are metal and are connected to two rubber hoses. My question is are these metal lines part of the cooler or are they separate?

would be rubber that goes to the metal hose and pressed into a collar, you cant separate it thers alot of pressure in it. the metal unbolts/unscrews from the cooler.
