I have a clattering noise when the Truck is idling. When I accelerate it goes away. I replaced the idler puilley and the tensioner pulley and there still is the noise. The fan clutch doesn't seem to have any play or leaks and all of the other pulleys seem to be okay. Also there the belt has a bit of discoloartion on the smooth side of the belt. Any ideas?

see if you can pinpoint the rattling, what area is it comming from? check all around the vehicle to see if the converter is rattling or a engine rattle..
