My engine has developed a tapping sound recently. Sometimes it's louder than others & sometimes it seems to stop for a minute or so. Check Engine light is on & it does not have the acceleration it should.

Have the computer scanned at a nationally recognized parts store. Most likely they will do it for free. Let me know what code they find.
