Interior problem
2000 Ford Expedition V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Power window in LF door not working. Suspect motor. Need to know how to remove int door panel to get to motor, etc. Removed top front phillips screw & can remove door handle. Presume apply pressure between panel & door interior to pop loose fasteners as for Broncos. However, applied considerable pressure, but not getting results & do not want to break anything. Are special tools helpful or required or are other methods used for removing these panels?

this is for 99 they should be the same

1) Remove Triangle Shaped Trim Piece On Inside Of Door Where Outside Mirror is.

Pull From Top, Then Lift Up.

2) Remove Lower Door Light Lens.

3) Remove Window Switch Panel , it Clips in, Pull Up.

4) Remove 3 Screws.

5) Lift Door Panel Up While Pushing it Torwards Door.

There is a special fork tool to get on the plastic anchors and pop them out. Did you bother to check the switch? These are a real issue on Fords. I had to replace mine at 8,000 miles, and Ford parts told me it's very common, so they keep many in stock... Mine needed to be pressed hard on the front edge of the switch to get it to roll up, eventually it stopped altogether.
Three screws at bottom of panel, then remove the grab handle, pop all anchors, lift up on panel to release it from top of the door.
