With fuel guage showing a little over 1/4 full, when going down hill or coming to a stop the engine stalls.If the car sits level for a minute the engine restarts and can be driven. Filling the fuel tank at this point will take about 19.5 gallons. With a 26 gallon tank this means about 6.5 gallons left and the fuel guage was correct. Useing the car for 3 monthes and never letting the fuel get much below 1/2 tank according to the guage, no problem. Ford has no answer
