Brakes problem

when the front wheels are turned (like moving into a parking space) the brakes don't work. You can hear a loud clicking noise coming from the anti-lock brake system. Once the wheels are turned straight again the brakes work again. It's only 11 degrees here so I don't want to spend to much time laying in the snow trying to figure out what the problem is. Can I just pull the fuse out of the anti-lock system until the weather gets better?
