I START THE CAR AND IT WON'T SHIFT OUT OF PARK

Look under the colum at the brake pedal there is a wire coming off the brake pedal. it is probly broken this happened to my on this same expedition. your brake light probly are not working either. just look under there and you should be able to fix it yourself.
