1995 Ford Escort Wagon, 116,000 miles.

A light came on that looks like a battery. What do I need to do. Don't have original owners manual.

a light on that looks like a battery, have the charging system checked, it can be done at a auto store like auto zone, they will check the system, the car could be the altinator not putting out enough voltage or even a bad connection or battery.
