94 ford escort.1.9 5 speed manuale shift.145,000 miles. if the fly wheel has been machined more than 25,000ths,does the fly wheel need to be shimed?it was grinding trying to get it in first and reverse.the shop had it machined,it still doing the same thing.it had and has about 3-4 inchs of travel before it starts to disengage.i am on disabilty ,my girlfriends the one with the money.this guy now wants to charge me to put in a new fly wheel and i cant fully pay the bill i already have,atlest not this month.what should i do?helpme and i will have her send u 5 or ten bucks on her credit card.please help.i have been with out a car for amonth and 2 days.
