I have a 1997 Ford Escort, no ABS, front brake pads and rear brake shoes. (85,000 miles) When I am driving in the city, brakes are fine but when I am drivng in the freeway for about 30 minutes (non-stop), the moment I step on the brake pedal, the brake pedal is almost to the floor. I have to pump the brake pedal to get good brakes. Any suggestions? Thanks.
