So many pieces under there can make noise, i recommend you get it to a reliable repair shop for a look.. how about the Ford dealer, are you comfortable with them??? Luckily my local Ford place is excellent, they would never take me for a ride, they're straight-up people.. as an example, i would never take my car for an alignment anyplace but the dealer,, they have the absolute best front-end people there,, last time I took one of my cars there, they actually called me about 20 minutes after they had given me a ride home, to tell me that my car didn't need an alignment all was perfect, only charged me a quarter of the full price, I'm tellin' you, that can't be beat... I wouldn't take my car to a tire place, especially if you don't have clue, my experiences with these places have not been good.. years ago i bought some tires at one along with the lifetime balance deal,, every time I took my car in for a wheel balance, i would get the hard sell about how I needed ball joints, tierods, whatever.. all with the lifetime guarantee with the ridiculous installed price,, needless to say, I don't patronize tire stores anymore, I've been buying my tires at Walmart, that Viva2 store brand tire made by Goodyear is a damn good tire, works real good in the snow too,, unfortunately I think it's now discontinued, don't know the reason..

Escorts are common for broken springs. There is a recall on them. DON'T wait. I've seen these babies pop out and into a tire.
