I have a 98 Ford escort zx2 70k miles ... 2.0 dohc. The A/C clucth would not engage. I checked the CCRM and found were the unit was bad. Replaced the unit and now the A/C clucth will engae, but only for about one sec. If I disconnect the A/C HP switch the clucth will engage, but the cooling fan runs at high speed. Any ideals on what to check next?
