2000 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

had to repair damaged threads the problem is that i r might of made the hole to big for the heli-coil to fit. There no threads for it to grab on to.Is there any thing i can do to make it smaller and re-thread it

I dont believe going bigger going to help
best is to keep it at the same size check heli-coil repair kits
if to drill mark the drill bit so you dont drill deeper than needed
