Car suddenly would not shift out of park. Checked brake lights and had one blown bulb so we replaced that. Checked brake light fuses all of which are good. Car would shift out of park after replacing blown bulb but now about a week later it has happened again. We can shift it out of park by placing the screw driver in the shift interlock switch beside the gearshift. Is there something else we should check and/or repair? We don't have the money to spend at a repair shop so any information that you could give us would be of great help.
