My 1999 Ford Escort zx2 has 95000 miles and has a 5 speed manual transmission. I was recently driving and then parked it. When I returned to drive again, it was stuck in 3rd gear and will not move from that gear. Is there anything I can do myself to identify the problem and more importanly, can it be fixed at home as well?
