1999 Ford Escort 4 cyl 65000 miles
I got a new motor for my windshield wipers a couple of years ago and now the blades (especially the left one) is going over the side of the windshield and sometimes freezing (sticking) where it won't go back. The wind is also having an effect. I noticed today that the wind was also blowing the tip of the left blade up off the windshield. I know I need to have it looked at, but I am single, 59 years old, very tight income and I don't want to get ripped off by some mechanic that is trying to screw me. It has happened many times before.
