Electrical problem
1999 Ford Escort 4 cyl
1999 Ford ZX2, wasn't starting due to a severly corroded grounding wire. Just had a shop replace both battery cables. Then they said we needed a new alternator too because current one was only putting out 11.2. We opted to try and do that ourselves. We're having more problems with the vehicle now than before the shop touched it and I need to correct cause. Now battery light is on (never on before), check engine light is on, radio and dome light don't work, keyless entry fobs don't work either. Is this all due to a bad shop, bad alternator, fuse, battery??? Please help before we're ripped off!
