my car was involved in an accident and the axle on the front passenger side is now hitting the other thing (the thing below it, that is hooked to the tire). It is definitely the axle that is in the wrong place... it is pushed more towards the rear of the vehicle. Can this be repaired instead of replaced and still be safe to drive? If so, how exactly could that be done?

If the axles is in the wrong place, then the lower control arm or the mount for the control arm is also bent, MAYBE a frame shop could straighten it...
