Hi, I have a question about the check engine light on my 98 ford escort(with 190000 miles.) Before I had the work done, the check engine was on. I had the code checked and it pulled a code stating that the egr flow intake was insufficent. I had a full tune up, front wheel alightment, and the intake repaired(apparently there was a hose or tube that was bent and pressed against the engine.). However a couple of hours later, the light came back on. The car is running alot better than before I did the repair work, I'm not sure why the light came back on. Thank you.
