1998 Ford Escort Front Wheel Drive Manual 40000 miles

do i need to bleed my brakes after i put a new flexi on to my brakes thanks jjamieson

whenever you change a component of the brake lines, you should bleed it. You only need to bleed the wheel you worked on.

Yea I agree with calypso93. Bleed the wheel that's affected by it. Sounds like you blew a front brake hose since you said its a flexible hose.

For a future reference if you blow an actual brakeline, just trace that line that goes to wheel it goes to and bleed that wheel. If you blow a line, between the master cylinder and the proportioning valve(which is just below the firewall) then you have to bleed all 4 wheel since all of them will have air. Hope this helps.
