Hi, i have changed the rear bearing near side on my escort 1.8 gti, when doing up the bolt it would not go the distance of the spindle thread, i over tightened it and round it off. I have brought another spindle and another new set of bearings and i have the same problem it goes so fare and then stops but i am being told there is only one bolt for this spindal what could be the cause.
