I have a 1998 escort Zx2 I keep getting a code 172 on it. I have replaced o2 sensors and injectors. The code states bad o2 sensor. Any ideas

Could be a bad O2 sensor, excessive fuel pressure (bad fuel pressure regulator or plugged return line), leaky fuel injectors, dirty air filter or restricted air inlet, or a defective coolant temperature sensor that prevents the engine management system from going into closed loop mode
