I have a 97 Escort automatic. I believe the lock up solenoid is bad. It will engage, but is very sensitive and disengages when I let up on the gas and takes longer than it should to engage. I have the new solenoid but could not locate it with the pan off. There were two other solenoids easily accessable, but did not macth the one I purchased. Do I have the wrong part or is it deeper in the transmission. How do I locate and replace the lock up solenoid?
