The electric cooling fan will not start when the engine is over 195 degrees. I replaced the thermostat and tested the temperature sensor by grounding the terminal wire. I then turned on the A/C and jumpered the sensor for the A/C clutch and the fan started. Incidentally, the A/C compressor clutch will not engage at all. I cant find any broken wires and the temperature sensor has continuity to ground. I dont know if it should go to ground or 12V. Is there anything else i can do to avoid "hard-wiring" the fan to the ignition?
