My brake lights remain on after I released the brakes.
I tried wiggling the brake pedal back and forth with no results. I am going to try spraying some silicone on the brake button above the brake pedal next.

try tapping on teh switch an pushing the button. does that cause it to turn off? the switch may be failed.
