Does it happen all the time or just when turning? Also, does it change with the vehicle speed?

it gets louder the faster i go. i don't think it is the cv boot because it doesn't make that clunking noise when i turn. should i check the rear brakes or do i not have any?

If it stopped when you replaced the brake parts and is making the same noise again, check to make sure everything is tight including the calipers.
