1997 Ford Escort 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
I'm trying to get my 97 escort to start. how can i check the timing with out removing the crankshaft pulley? there is a spark and i smell fuel when turning the engine. I'm thinking that the timing is out. also what purpose does the crankshaft sensor serve?
